PeptidePal Data Deletion

Last updated August 11, 2026

Your Right to Delete

PeptidePal (formerly Pep Pal) lets you delete your account and the data associated with it at any time, directly from inside the app. This page explains how the in-app deletion flow works, what gets removed, and what to do if you cannot access the app.

Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest and most complete way to delete your data is from the PeptidePal Settings screen:

  1. Open PeptidePal and tap the Me tab.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Under the Account section, tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm twice when prompted. This action is immediate and irreversible.

Once confirmed, your PeptidePal account and the personal data tied to it are permanently deleted from our servers. You do not need to email us or wait for a response — the deletion happens right then and there.

What We Delete

When you tap Delete Account, we remove:

  • Your Supabase authentication record (your Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google identifier and email).
  • Your profile row, which includes your onboarding answers, goals, experience level, peptides of interest, check-in cadence, and demographics (age, biological sex, height, weight).
  • Any server-side records linked to your user identifier.

Your on-device data — dose logs, protocol schedules, stack configurations, streak history, and chat history — is cleared when the app signs out as part of the deletion flow. If you also want this data erased from the device, delete the app after signing out; uninstalling removes any remaining local storage.

Delete Website Funnel Analytics

If website product analytics are approved and enabled after the pending launch review, they use a random anonymous funnel identifier, not your email or PeptidePal account identifier. This separation means deleting an account does not by itself reveal which anonymous PostHog events belong to the same browser.

To delete those events, email help@blanklabs.io and include the anonymous funnel identifier stored by peptidepal.health in your browser. We use that identifier to propagate a deletion request to PostHog under the deletion process approved at launch. If you need help locating it, tell us which browser and device you used and we will provide instructions.

If website product analytics are enabled, you can also open Privacy choices and withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawal stops future events and clears PostHog browser persistence; a deletion request is still required to remove events already received.

What We Keep

Referral redemption ledger entries are retained so we can preserve creator-code accounting, but your user identifier is detached from them so they are no longer linked to you.

We may also retain a minimal amount of information where required by law (for example, financial records for tax or accounting purposes). Consent-gated website funnel analytics are handled separately through the anonymous-identifier deletion process above.

Subscriptions Are Separate

Deleting your account or the app does not cancel either an Apple App Store subscription or a Stripe website subscription. For an App Store subscription, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone and cancel PeptidePal; Apple handles App Store subscription cancellation and refunds. For a website subscription, email help@blanklabs.io from the address used at checkout and ask us to cancel future renewals.

If You Cannot Access the App

If you have lost access to your device or otherwise cannot use the in-app deletion flow, email us at help@blanklabs.io from the email address associated with your account, with the subject line “Delete my PeptidePal account.” We will verify your request and delete your account within thirty (30) days.
